NEW BEGINNINGS AT RADIO TITANS

NEW BEGINNINGS AT RADIO TITANS, AS TEAM MEMBER ADAM GROPMAN WAS ONE OF THE 33 COUPLES MARRIED AT THE GRAMMYS ON NATIONAL TELEVISION AND THE SITE ITSELF SPRINGS BACK TO LIFE BIGGER THAN EVER FEBRUARY 3 AFTER A 5-MONTH HIATUS!

Imagine being married with more than 28 million people watching, rapper/actress Queen Latifah saying your vows and a combo of Macklemore &Ryan Lewis and Madonna serving as your wedding singers. That amazing scenario happened Sunday night for 33 couples, and one of them was Los Angeles comedian Adam Gropman and his bride Robyn Monks.
The happy couple rode a string of lucky breaks into the historic ceremony, where they were featured smiling widely while holding hands before taking part in the group vows. Gropman is also a writer for the LA Weekly, and he will be sharing his story in an article for the New York Times shortly.
Gropman is also a proud long time member of the podcasting site www.radiotitans.com, where he co hosted numerous episodes of the site’s late-night comedy and music series “Pajama Party” alongside Titans founder Carl Kozlowski and Christina Myers. Gropman will also be sharing his story from the Grammys at 10 pm PST next Monday, Feb. 3, when he makes his final official hosting appearance on “Party” before segueing into hosting his own show on the site in the coming weeks.
"To get married is a big deal. To get married on the floor of the Grammys, after Metallica jammed with Lang Lang, standing in the aisle near Quincy Jones, Nine Inch Nails and Queens Of The Stone Age, to be married by Queen Latifah to rapping by Macklemore and singing by Madonna and then to shake hands with Sir Paul McCartney and high-five Ringo, that's F'ing crazy!!” says Gropman. “Something Robyn and I will have forever. Hellofa wedding story!”
Rising Upright Citizens Brigade talent Anastasia Washington will be replacing Gropman as a host of “Pajama Party,” joining Kozlowski and Myers as they bring the beats and the funny to listeners on a weekly basis . Washington is not the only UCB talent coming to Radio Titans, as veteran performer Jake Friday is bringing the station a newly formed sketch team to perform an audio-sketch show that follows in the footsteps of “The National Lampoon Radio Hour” starting Feb. 23.
Radio Titans was named one of the “Frontier Fifty” – the 50 most innovative talk-radio and podcasting sites in America – by www.talkers.com, the talk-radio industry’s primary news site, last August. It was an honor for the year-old site, as they were able to share honors with the likes of Marc Maron and Adam Carolla, and the honor inspired them to take a five-month hiatus and relaunch in a bigger, better format next Monday, Feb. 3.
The site, which hosted about a dozen shows at its prior peak, will be relaunching with 20 new and returning shows hosted by comedy veterans and hot newcomers, including “Monkey With  A Brain” by Shang, “The Best of Everything” with Ruben Paul, a new show by Bil Dwyer and “Little Ethnic Girls” with Helen Hong and Maria Shehata. Several more shows will be launching in time for March.
Numerous music shows are also planned for the site, which also intends to launch a series of live comedy and rock events across Los Angeles in the coming months.
